With back to back rounds of 71, Nick Geyer claimed a three-stroke victory at The Crossings at Carlsbad
CARLSBAD, Calif. — The 2015 Carlsbad City Amateur Championship crown went to Nick Geyer on Sunday, with back-to-back 71s giving him a three-stroke victory over Chase Furey.
Furey posted 71 on Sunday, as well, rebounding from 74 on day one at The Crossings at Carlsbad to jump into the runner-up spot. Clay Feagler also carded 74 on Saturday, then improved to a 72 in the final round to take third place alongside Marcus Mercado-Kiel (73-73).

36-hole event. Flighted individual championship with overall Gross, Net, and Senior. Amateurs only. Low index as of the day before the event will be used. Caddies are not allowed. All participants must ride.
