Mark Gardiner wins third straight Missouri Senior

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Mark Gardiner of Mascoutah, Ill. maintained his four-stroke lead at the Missouri Senior Amateur, giving him three titles in a row.
Playing Hickory Hills Country Club, Gardiner fired three-under 69 to be four clear of two players at 73, Tom Barry and Scott Edwards. Then after an even-par 72 on Tuesday, Gardiner remained four ahead of the rest of the field.
Edwards also fired 72, giving him second place by a stroke over Steve Groom.
Barry and Wayne Fredrick tied for fourth place at 5-over par 149.
In the Super Senior division, Donald Dupske won by two shots over Ron Brewer, whose final-round 76 was the lowest score in the division.
