Brothers David and Mike May carded 5-under 65 to lead by a stroke after the first round at Oak Hill

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Brothers David and Mike May carded 5-under 65 to lead by a stroke after the first round at the John R. Williams Four-Ball Tournament. The natives of Auburn, N.Y. pace the field over five teams just a stroke back at 66, three teams at 67, and another six teams at 68. Thirty-six holes remain at Oak Hill Country Club. David is a former Clemson golfer who turned pro but has since regained his amateur status, while Mike a current high-school senior. Tied for second place at 4-under are the following teams: Mike Stackus and Mike Griffin, Shawn Baker and Carter Lucas, Michael Carrig and Brian Kumiega, Paul Gortnar and Jonathan Dunlap, and Pat Lindsay and Chris McCuaig.
