The Glendale City Championship moved over to Oakmont Country Club for Sunday's final round, and Ryan Miranda posted 72 to win by three
GLENDALE, Calif. — Ryan Mirada secured a three-shot win at the Glendale City Championship on Sunday, posting a final-round 72 at Oakmont Country Club — site of this year's SCGA Amateur Championship.
While the opening round of the tournament was played at Scholl Canyon, a par-60 course, on Thursday, Sunday hosted the concluding round at the multiple-time host of SCGA major championships. Miranda carded even-par 60 on Thursday, trailing first-round leaders Win Kyaw and Willy Moffly by two. But Miranda's one-over 72 at Oakmont on Sunday was the lowest score by four shots.
Miranda was runner-up last year to Vinny De Pinto. This year, he wrapped up a three-shot win over Fidel Rodriguez, who finished in second place by three over Tavit Garabedian.
