It was an all-amateur show at Crestview on the final day of U.S. Open Local Qualifying as former Tulsa golfer Andre Tourinho of Brazil medaled with 65, followed by Oklahoma junior Beau Titsworth, Kansas State sophomore Connor Knabe, and Oklahoma sophomore Max McGreevy. Even the alternates are amateurs as two more Sooner golfers, freshman Grant Hirschman and senior Charlie Saxon, secured those positions. full results>

Only three players advanced to Sectionals from the Baldwinsville, N.Y. site, but one was University of Virginia sophomore Derek Bard, who despite being four-over par through 13 holes managed to make it through. Two Northern California amateurs are moving on to U.S. Open Sectionals after shooting four-under par 68 at Silverado on Wednesday. Miguel Delgado, the high-school senior from Novato who recently won the Alameda Commuters Tournament, as well as San Jose State junior Cody Blick were part of a three-for-four playoff to get in. Cal freshman Sebastian Crampton was the lone player left out of the playoff and was granted a first alternate spot. full results>
