Future Champions secures TV coverage for 2015 FCG International

The television program “Playing Through with John Weisbarth” will televise highlights of the 2015 FCG International
Playing Through is broadcast by various cable networks in major markets across the U.S. The show reaches 86 million homes with a weekly audience of 380,000 viewers.
The program’s coverage of the FCG International will feature at least 60 seconds of highlights for each age division over five episodes that will air from August through early October, 2015.“We want to help tell the story about the hard work and effort put in by the team at Future Champions Golf,” said David Evenson, producer of Playing Through.
“Televising the event and featuring the kids in the program will be a win-win for the show and for junior golf.”

The 2014 FCG International featured more than 650 players from 32 countries. This year’s schedule of events includes:
-Sycuan Resort – Pine Glen Course: July 8th, Par-3 Contest (separate registration required)
-Sycuan Resort – Oak Glen Course: July 6-7, Boys 13-14, Girls 13-14; July 6-8: Girls 15-18 (cut to top 50% after 36 holes)
-Sycuan Resort – Willow Glen Course: July 6-8, Boys 15-18 (cut to top 25% after 36 holes)
-St. Mark Golf Club: July 9-10, all 11-12 & Boys 9-10
-Lake San Marcos Executive Course: July 9-10, Girls 9-10, all 7-8 & all 6-and-under

ABOUT FUTURE CHAMPIONS GOLF
Future Champions Golf was founded in 2003 by PGA Teaching Professional Chris Smeal, PGA as an instruction based program for all levels of junior golfers. With immediate success in helping kids love the game and take their game to the tournament level and then the collegiate level, Chris saw a need for a tournament program. In 2007, FCG launched the Callaway Golf Challenge Tour as a San Diego based 36-hole Nationally Ranked Tournament Series. The tour was well- received and quickly built a reputation for providing a PGA Tour-like experience for an affordbale price for families. The tour is now comprised of more than 10 "World Series" events, as well as 10 "National Series" events, plus many more.
