FootJoy's FJ Icon is one of the most popular choices among both professional and amateur players - timeless style and unlimited personalization options make it an iconic winner
Any camera angle can reveal the FootJoy logo on the outside sole of the heel wedge. The FJ Icon is a premium shoe and it comes with a premium cost, but it’s overly comfortable, light enough to compete with the sportier sneaker-like shoes of present day, but with timeless styling.
FootJoy's popular and timeless
FJ Icon ready to be personalized. |
The base version retails for $289.99 and the My Joys customization will be priced at $310.00 for a design your own, or $320.00 for NCAA team logo. I played major collegiate golf and have an affinity for my school. To honor my school’s logo on the outside heel of the shoe, and in several different color options, is priceless. I get to wear a top level tour shoe personalized to my liking. And despite the costs, I was so enamored with these shoes, the comfort, quality, stability, and durability, that I have three pairs. White with white saddle. White with red saddle. White with black saddle. My biggest dilemma, apart from color coordination, is choosing which ones to wear.
I honestly cannot think of wearing another shoe. Think of your favorite casual loafers that are a must-go with almost everything you wear. That’s what this shoe embodies. The customization is not limited to NCAA offerings, but also includes MLB and Alliances such as the Folds of Honor. There are many ways to personalize it - your logo, your initials, and without doubt there is only one FJ Icon.
