Santiago Canyon College sophomore Byron Busse posted 69 at Tijeras Creek on Saturday to lead by one heading into final day

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. — Byron Busse, a sophomore at Santiago Canyon College, shot 69 on Saturday at the Rancho Santa Margarita Amateur to lead heading into the final round by a stroke over Oliver Rheinfurth and Adrian Young. Defending champion Gordon Neale shot one-under 71 and is one of five players tied for fourth place.
