The most winning shaft in PGA Tour history helps first time champ to victory at TPC Scottsdale
After finishing in the top 10 in all three of his starts this season, the champion shot a final- round 66 to win by one stroke in a come-from- behind victory at TPC Scottsdale. He started Sunday four strokes behind, but took the lead with a 50-foot eagle putt off the green on 15. The win is his sixth professional win, and moves him to number six in the FedEx Cup points.
“It is exciting to see the Phoenix Open champ win after so many great starts here in the U.S. and abroad,” said David Walker, senior director of sales and global tour operations for True Temper Sports. “We are honored that he, along with 14 of the other Top 10 finishers, trust shafts by True Temper.”
