The new Callaway Chrome Soft golf ball with a new low compression SoftFast Core that provides low spin, increased ball speed off the tee and exceptional feel on iron shots and around the green

CARLSBAD, Calif. (December 17, 2014) -- Today Callaway Golf announced their latest golf ball innovation, the Chrome Soft. Chrome Soft features a proprietary SoftFast Core with low compression and a Tour Urethane cover. According to Callaway, the new core design provides low spin on tee shots for increased ball speed and distance. It also lets players compress the ball on iron shots for incredibly soft feel, and provides excellent control and consistency on shots into the green. Optimized aerodynamics with Callaway's very familiar hex dimple pattern allow Chrome Soft to perform well in all wind conditions. Chrome Soft will be available at retail on January 16, 2015.
