University of Southern California maintains lead at Gifford Collegiate

The USC Trojans men's golf team went 10-under on Tuesday to slightly extend their lead over UCLA at CordeValle
SAN MARTIN, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2014) — Through two rounds at the UCLA-hosted Gifford Collegiate, the University of Southern California extended their two-shot lead to three on Tuesday at CordeValle Golf Club.
Freshman Sean Crocker leads the team through 36 holes, as the Westlake Village native posted 69-68 to sit in a tie for second place individually. Senior Paul Smith, who shot 67 on Monday, carded 73 in the second round.
UCLA junior Jake Knapp still leads in the individual race at 136 (66-70). His Bruins sit three shots back of USC with 18 holes to play.
Both Southern California teams are far ahead of the other eight teams in the field as third-place Northwestern is 12 shots behind second-place UCLA.
