Brady Exber surges to lead at Yeamans Hall Senior Invitational
HANAHAN, S.C. (Oct. 7, 2014) — Brady Exber is in position at Yeamans Hall Club in suburban Charleston, S.C. to win his third amateur golf major of the year. After trailing first-round leader David Ujihara by six shots entering Tuesday's second round, Exber's 69 put him one ahead at the Yeamans Hall Senior Invitational.

At 72-69, Exber sits a stroke ahead of George Walker and Ken Larney with Wednesday's final round looming. Exber, a Las Vegas native, has wins at the British Senior Amateur and Senior Azalea Invitational in 2014, as well as a runner-up finish at the Canadian Senior Amateur.

Larney, of Orland Park, Ill., shot the low round of the day, 67, after shooting 75 on Monday. First-round leader Ujihara of Brea, Calif. posted 77, but is one of three players just two back.

Overall, ten players are within five shots of Exber.

Defending champion Jon Tingley of Flemington, N.J. shot 75-70 and is tied for eighth.

In the Super Senior division, Tom Grady of Marshall, Va. has a two-shot lead at 138 over Jim Rollefson and John Baldwin.
