Bobby Baugh wins second straight San Antonio Senior

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Oct. 5, 2014) — Bobby Baugh captured his second consecutive San Antonio Senior Championship on Sunday, going wire-to-wire to win by eight.

He opened with a 65 to lead by four after Friday's round and continued to extend his lead, shooting 71-68 on the weekend to defend his title.

His 65 was the lowest round of the tournament by four shots and only the fourth round in the 60's over the course of three days.

Richard Hageman had one of the rounds, a 69 on Sunday to finish alone in second place at 212.

ABOUT THE San Antonio Senior Amateur

Open to anyone with amateur status, 50 years or older, residing in Bexar, Comal, Kendall, Wilson, Atascosa, Medina, Guadalupe, or Bandera counties for a minimum of three months prior to the Championship date.

Format: 54 hole stroke play, with men's senior, men's super senior, and women's senior divisions.
