Wegmann takes Palm Beach Senior Amateur

In a battle of siblings, John Wegmann edged his brother Peter by two shots to win the Palm Beach Senior title
BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (September 7, 2014) — John Wegmann, Mark Rubin, Terry Louis & Don Edwards were the winners Sunday at this year's Palm Becah Senior Amateur Championship at Pine Tree Golf Club.
Wegmann won the Senior Division with rounds of 72-68--140 by 2 shots over his brother Peter Wegmann who posted 73-69--142.
Tied for third were Darryl Osler 71-73--144 and Pete Williams 71-73--144.
Mark Rubin won the Super Senior Division on the first playoff hole over Steve Sim. Rubin shot 75-75--150 and Steve Sim shot 73-77-150. Tied for third were Ronald Fisher 80-74-154 and John Latowski 77-77-154.
Terry Louis & Don Edwards were declared co champions in the Legend Division. Both shot rounds of 80-81--161. Nathaniel Clark finished third at 80-84--164.
About the Palm Beach Senior

Format is 36-holes of stroke play with Senior (50- 59), Super Senior (60-69), and Legend (70+) divisions. Open to all PBCGA members who have reached their 50th birthday by the start of the tournament.
