McIlroy Trusts Project X for Back-to-Back Win

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (August 4, 2014) — With Project
X in the bag, the 2014 Open Champion claimed
the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone
Invitational and reclaimed the title as the #1
player in the world.
The 25-year-old champion carded four birdies in
the final round to come from behind for a two-
stroke victory with a final four round total of 15-
under par 265. With Project X in his irons, he
tied for first in greens in regulation at 79.2%.
