Reinstated amateur Matt Parziale took low amateur honors, falling in a 4-man aggregate playoff
WESTON, Mass. (JUne 13, 2014) -- Reinstated amateur Matt Parziale made a valiant run at the 105th Massachusetts Open but fell just short, losing in a four-man playoff.
Parziale shot rounds of 70-67-74 and finished tied alongside professionals Eric Dugas, Kyle Gallo and eventual champion Ian Thimble, who prevailed after a three-hole aggregate playoff at Weston Golf Club.
Alex Stimpson, a Titleist employee and former Mass. Four-Ball winner, finished one shot out of the playoff and in fifth place.

54 hole stroke play championship open to professional golfers and amateur golfers with an active USGA GHIN Handicap Index not exceeding 2.4. Non-exempt players must pre-qualify.
