San Antonio Mid-Am: Baugh leads entering final round
UNIVERSAL CITY, Texas (May 3, 2014) -- Bobby Baugh shot a second-round 73 and will take a one-shot lead into the final round of action Sunday at the 2014 Greater San Antonio Mid-Amateur Championship at Olympia Hills.
Baugh opened played with a 74 on Friday and stayed consistent. He holds a one-shot lead over Mark Miller, who combined his first-round 75 with a 73 on Saturday to stay within striking distance.
Danny Simmerman shot the low round of the tournament -- a 3-under 69 -- to bounce back nicely from a slow start on Friday.

Open to any man or woman with amateur status, 25
years or older, and residing in Bexar, Comal,
Kendall,
Wilson, Atascosa, Medina, Guadalupe, or Bandera
counties for a minimum of three months prior to the
Championship date. (Military residents exempt from
three month residency requirement.)
