Watson used Grafalloy BiMatrx in his driver and Dynamic Gold in his Ping irons to win a 2nd green jacket
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (April 14, 2014) - The 2014 Masters Champion
won his second green jacket with a three-stroke victory and some
nearly impossible shots on the back nine in the final round.
With Grafalloy BiMatrx in the bag, he had an incredible 366-yard drive on 13 that left him just 140 yards from the pin and set him up for a birdie. He finished number one in driving distance for the weekend with an average drive of 305 yards. Trusting his short game to Dynamic Gold, the champion had one of the most memorable shots of the weekend on 15 with his 6-iron to keep the lead.
"Congratulations to the second-time Masters Champion," said Chad Hall, director of global tour operations and product marketing for True Temper Sports. "He played great throughout the weekend and took some calculated risks at the end that really paid off. To pull off those shots under that kind of pressure, you have to have confidence in your equipment. The champion has trusted Dynamic Gold and Grafalloy BiMatrx for all six of his PGA TOUR career wins and now both of his wins at The Masters. It is an honor to be a part of those victories and I am certain we will see him again in the winner's circle."
