LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 8, 2014) -- Brandon Bauman had been hanging around a 2-Day Championship for the past 2 months. On Sunday, he finally capitalized on one.

Bauman shot 69-69 for a 2-Day total of 138 to clip Kenny Ebalo by one shot. Ebalo shot an impressive 67 on day one, but a few misses cost him on day two as an even par 72 is all he could mustard. Bauman took advantage and a steady back nine of Sunday lead to the Championship.

Rounding out the top 5 was talented Frenchman Emilio Arbogast with a (70-75), local legend Brady Exber (75-72) and Jon Scolari from Silverstone (74-74).

In the Net Division, Ed White came from 3 back to win his second 2-Day Championship of the Year. White won the Henderson Open at Revere in January, but was even more impressive at Golf Summerlin. White shot 74-69 Net to beat out Keith Hogge by one shot. First Round leader Rob Zoine finished in 3rd Place.

In the Senior Championship, Gary Carpendale beat Cyrus Whitney in a 4 Hole Sudden Death Playoff to win yet another SNGA Championship. Carpendale, who won the Senior Player of the Year in 2013, shot 69-77 while Whitney finished his 36 Hole total at 72-74. The two players had plenty of company with a very good field that included Frank Acker, Gary Lanzen and Kevin Parrish.

In the Senior Net Division, John Garrett shot 76-72 Net to win his first 2 Day Championship of the year.

The Super Senior field had a different turn out for the first time this year. John Turk (72-76) ended Frank Abbott's (73-76) streak of 2-Day Championship wins at 3. Turk, playing on a bum knee, limped around for 2 Days and played steady enough as Abbott truly struggled for the first time this season with the SNGA.

Dan Simmons won the Super Senior Net Division with a 70-73 Net for a 2-Day total of 143 Net.

The Summerlin Amateur was also host to our first Junior Division tournament of the year as Ethan Bozner (74-76) held off a fierce little 13 year old named Annick Hackiewicz (76-74) in a sudden death 2 hole playoff.

The SNGA would like to thank all the participates in this year's championship as well as our home course Golf Summerlin for making this tournament such a success.
