Stephen Sharpe of Greensboro, N.C. got off to a flying start at the 2014 Society of Seniors Spring Classic at Bonita Bay Club
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (Feb. 25, 2014) -- Stephen Sharpe of Greensboro, N.C. got off to a flying start at the 2014 Society of Seniors Spring Classic at Bonita Bay Club.
Sharpe shot 67 and leads all players entering the second round.
Behind Sharpe is a host of familiar names, including Jon Tingley and Michael Occi, who both shot 69 and share second place.
Cy Whitney is fourth after a first-round 70 while three players -- Dan Houlihan, Randy Bowman and Sam Till -- finished Round 1 with 71 and are within four shots of the lead.
In the Super Senior division, Peter Saputo and Robert Currey are tied atop the leaderboard at 71.
