Broward (FL) County: Strafaci bests Paletz in playoff
PLANTATION, Fla. (Dec. 8, 2013) — After 18 holes of give and take, Ty Strafaci defeated Tyler Paletz on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff Sunday afternoon to win the Broward County Amateur Golf Championship.
Tied after three rounds at 7-over-par 221 after they each posted 2-over-par 73s, the Davie residents headed to the 434-yard first hole of Jacaranda Golf Club's East Course, where Strafaci said he hit his two best shots of the day.
