SCGA Sr. Club Champions: Steinberg prevails
CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. (Dec. 2, 2013) -- Craig Steinberg shot even-par 71 to win by a shot at the 2013 SCGA Senior Tournament of Club Champions at Industry Hills Golf Course.
Steinberg beat Michael Krueger, who finished alone in second place, after shooting a 1-over 72.
John Hoffman of Coronado Men's Club rounded out the Top 3 with a 2-over 73.
ABOUT THE SCGA Senior Tournament of Club Champions
Senior men’s club champions, age 55 and over, are
invited to play in this 18-hole event. The senior club
champion must have a Handicap Index of 5.4 or
below as of the date of registration. They must be an
amateur member in good standing with the SCGA
and a member on the club’s active SCGA roster at
the time they won the championship. This Division
will compete without handicaps. Senior men’s club
champions with a Handicap Index of 5.5 and above
will play in the net divisions. Senior men’s club
champions that have not reached their 55th birthday
by the date of the championship are not eligible for
this Division.
