Nebraska Senior: Semifinals set
VALLEY, Neb. (Aug. 6, 2013) -- Jay Muller, Steve Samuelson, Chris Mangan and Jeff Epstein each won two matches on Wednesday at the 3rd Nebraska Senior Match Play Championship to advance to tomorrow's semifinals.
The morning set of matches was delayed 3 1/2 hours by storms before the action started at The Pines Country Club. Muller, the No. 1 seed, will face Samuelson, the reigning Senior Amateur champion, tomorrow at 7 a.m. in the first match. Mangan and Epstein are set for a 7:08 a.m. start. All matches will begin on the No. 10 tee and the finals will be contested in the afternoon.
Competition also continued in the Presidents Flight for the gross division as well as the Sam Reynolds and the Bob Astleford flights on the net side. Scoring for all brackets can be found above.

ABOUT THE Nebraska Senior Match Play
Entries are open to amateur golfers ages 50 and
over
who are residents of Nebraska and a member
of the Nebraska Golf Association (NGA).
The field will be limited to 96 players (48 gross & 48
net). Format is 18-holes of stroke play to determine
flights and seeds for match play.
