Amateur Jay Whitby fired rounds of 68-70-71--209 to top a field full of professionals

SELBYVILLE, Del. (Aug. 6, 2013) -- Amateur Jay Whitby fired rounds of 68-70-71--209 to top a field full of professionals at the 2013 Delaware State Open at Bayside Resort Golf Club. Whitby shot a 1-under 71 in the final round to keep pace with and top professional John Lynch. Amateur Sean Mercer was 5-over to tie for seventh place.
