Miles Respess managed to hold everyone off and finish the day at 1 under par and 6 under for the weekend
GRENADA, Miss. (Aug. 4, 2013) -- The 2013 Grenada Invitational is officially in the books after a great weekend competition. Miles Respess of Paragould, Arkansas had a slow start this morning and turned at 4 over for the day. He quickly recovered with five straight birdies on numbers 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 to get back in the red for the day. He managed to hold everyone off and finish the day at 1 under par and 6 under for the weekend.
Greenville's Michael Naaman played steady to day by firing a final round of even par and finishing the weekend in second place at 5 under par. Nick Smith of Senatobia, Brent Thomas of Grenada, and T. Robert Oakley of Senatobia all tied for third at 2 under par for the weekend. Robert Pannell of Greenwood and Brandon Jenkins of Southhaven tied for first in our first flight at 2 over par for the weekend. Jenkins pulled it out in the score card play off and took first while Pannell took second. Hap Brister took third with a score of 4 over par for the weekend. Greenville's Bill Hood came away with first in the second flight with a two day total of 11 over par, while Harris Gholson of Holly Spring took second with a total of 13 over par.
Joey Landrum, Daryl Cox, and Tait Darby all tied for third with two day totals of 14 over par. Derek Denman of Bartlett TN took the win in the third flight with a two day total of 14 over par. Addison Moore of Grenada came in second with a total of 16 over par, while Grenada's Mike Carver took third with a total of 17 over par. Winning the fourth flight, with a two day total of 19 over par, is Grenada's Justin Dyre. Ben Dehart, also of Grenada, took second with 20 over par, and in third, with a two day total of 21 over par, is Justice Gondwe of Grenada. Adam Bowen of Greenwood took first in the fifth flight with a two day total of 25 over par, while Tim Wilson of Potts Camp took second with a total of 29 over par.
Tied for third, with a total of 39 over par for the weekend, is Stephen Sullivan of Batesville and Peter Patterson of Oxford.
About the Grenada Invitational

The tournament is a 36-hole stroke play championship. This event will be flighted after the second round of play. Open, Senior (ages 50-59) and Super Senior (ages 60-69), and Grand Master (ages 70+) divisions.
