Marc Peterson's final-round 64 helps him overcome a six-shot deficit to win the Stockton City over two-time defending champion Joshua Stone
STOCKTON, Calif. (August 4, 2013) — After trailing two-time defending Stockton City Amateur champion Joshua Stone by six shots heading into Sunday's final round, Marc Peterson capitalized on a final-round 64 to win the tournament by one shot.
Stone fired 63 on Saturday, and opened up a four-shot lead over Patrick Burda who shot 67. Peterson shot 69 on Saturday before his 64 shot him into the lead for good.
Stone took second place at 63-71 while Burda came in third at 67-71.
