U.S. Open qualifier and University of Texas commit Gavin Hall fired rounds of 71-69-77-72 to prevail
ROCHESTER, NY (July 20, 2013) -- U.S. Open qualifier and University of Texas commit Gavin Hall fired rounds of 71-69-77-72 to finish 1-over and atop the leaderboard at the 2013 Rochester District Golf Association Championship.
Hall, who qualified for the U.S. Open at Merion by winning the sectional qualifier at nearby Purchase, NY, prevailed over runner-up James Scorse by two three shots.
Trevor Sluman was five back of Hall and took third.
About the Rochester District Amateur

72-hole stroke play championship with a cut to the top 40 and ties after the second round. Must be a member of an RDGA member club. Non-exempt players must pre-qualify.
