Frank Madrigal shot rounds of 71-72--143 to win the Senior title while Jim Welsh shot his age (73) on Saturday en route to the Super Senior win

MANTECA, Calif. (July 7, 2013) -- At Manteca Park Golf Course, Frank Madrigal shot rounds of 71-72--143 to win the 2013 Manteca City Senior Stroke Play Championship. Madrigal was one shot better than Ralph Costanzo, who shot 71 in the final round before falling just short of forcing a playoff. Joe Sasamoto was third with rounds of 71-75--146. In the Super Senior Division, Jim Welsh prevailed with rounds of 73-78--151. The Saturday 73 was most notable as the card matched Welsh's age.
