Recent high-school graduate Li Wang wins the Seattle Amateur Championship.
SEATTLE, Wa. (July 3, 2013) — Four golfers led the Seattle Amateur Championship heading into Wednesday's final round. Only one shot under par to close out the event.
Recent high school graduate Li Wang from Sahalee Country Club was that golfer, shooting one-under par 71 to win the Seattle Amateur by three shots.
Wang fired a pair of 68's in the opening two rounds to share the lead with three others, including Chris Babcock and Erik Hanson, who dropped back to a tie for second place after they both shot 74 on Wednesday.
Jacob Webb, the fourth and final second-round leader, shot 78 on Wednesday, falling back into a tie for 11th place.

54-hole stroke play event played at 3 different Seattle golf courses. Field cut after 36 holes to the low 54 players who advance to the final round.
