Former University of Louisiana at Lafayette golfer Brandt Garon wins the Baton Rouge Open Championship by one stroke.
BATON ROUGE, La. (June 23, 2013) — Brandt Garon, a former University of Louisiana at Lafayette golfer, was victorious on Sunday at Santa Maria Golf Course.
Garon shot a final-round 70 to win the Baton Rouge Open Championship by one stroke over Blaine Patin.
Patin fired the low round on Sunday, a 69, but came up just shot short.

36-hole stroke play event open to all golfers. Non- flighted event paying approximately the top 30% of the field.
