Odyssey releases Triple Track #7 and Stroke Lab Women's putters
The Odyssey Triple Track #7 (Odyssey photo)
In January,
we reviewed Odyssey's Triple Track putters, which combined a variety of Odyssey's most popular putter head shapes with the Triple Track alignment, where two blue lines bracket a red line, which helps golfers align their putts.
The Triple Track alignment has proven to be popular with touring pros, and so Odyssey has now released its most popular putter head shape, the #7, with Triple Track.
The #7 head has winglike extensions on the heel and toe, which increases perimeter weighting and stability.
Stroke Lab Women's Putters
Odyssey has also released its Stroke Lab Women's Putters, available in three head shapes: the aforementioned #7, the #1 and the 2-ball.
The Stroke Lab weighting provides enhanced forgiveness, alignment, and insert technology. The White Hot Microhinge Insert is designed to produce great feel -- overall a slightly firmer feel and sound at impact. The silver and blue high contrast finish is designed to assist with alignment.
What makes the putter tailored to women golfers? A smaller grip (the Stroke Lab Pistol) and slightly shorter shaft length (33 inches).
Both the Stroke Lab Women's Putter and the Triple Track #7 retail for $249.99.
