Odyssey's Microhinge technology provides incredible gains in topspin and roll at impact regardless of your stroke
CARLSBAD, CA (January 17, 2018) - Callaway Golf has announced the launch of the Odyssey O-Works Red and Black Putters, to be available for retail on February 23.
Odyssey is the #1 Putter across the major worldwide Tours, and Odyssey putters had more worldwide wins than any other brand in 2017. Extensive professional feedback from tour pros drove the look and function of the O-Works Red and Black Putters.
Some players prefer a clean, simple look at address, and for them an all-black finish has been a popular choice for many years. Others have been asked to test models with a red finish, and found that they love the more bright and bold look.
Odyssey has long set the standard for insert innovation, starting with their White Hot insert and progressing from there. The newest evolution is Odyssey's Microhinge Face Insert, which challenges the way golfers think about roll off of the putter face.
The Microhinge Insert Technology provides incredible gains in topspin and roll at impact regardless of your stroke. The stainless steel Microhinge plate is co-molded into our Thermoplastic Elastomer Feel Layer, providing great feel and the new geometry of the hinges and urethane together help to get the ball into a better roll at impact.
This newest insert technology has proven itself from when Phil Mickelson first put it into play at the 2016 Ryder Cup. Starting February 23, everyone will have the chance to see what it can do for their games.
Pricing: O-Works Red and Black: starting at $199.99
Available at Retail: February 23, 2018
