Chrome Soft vs. Chrome Soft X - What's the Difference?
With the launch of Callaway's new Chrome Soft X
golf ball, we’re sure Callaway golf ball loyalists are
going to have plenty of questions in regards to which
ball they should play.
Chrome Soft X will have a firmer feel, more spin
through the middle part of the bag for workability
and a more piercing trajectory.
Hopefully the bullet points in the chart below will
get you started in learning the key differences. But
our recommendation? Try them out and
feel/see/learn for yourself. Play a round against
yourself, one ball vs. the other. Or just putt 9 holes
on the practice green, again one ball vs. the other.
There is also a really informative Callaway video at
the bottom of the page.
Now, granted, many of you would like to be
playing golf with any old golf ball right now;
hopefully you have a winter or spring trip on the
horizon.
One more note.
If you play Chrome Soft Truvis but want to
switch over to the X, there will be a Chrome Soft X
Truvis ball available in the spring.
