The TFI Smart Square putter promotes a soft feel and consistent speed across the face.
The new TFI Smart Square putter from
Cleveland Golf will have you seeing double, and
once you do, the company known for short
game innovation believes you’re going to like it.
The tour-inspired design on Cleveland’s
new putter features Smart Square alignment
technology - a pair of box-like dual axis
alignments that frame the ball at address
providing a clear visual path to the hole. The
TFI Smart
Square putter also features a multi-
material face construction. A white Copolymer
insert is combined with a Milled Copper Infused
Face Cap to create a better feel and consistent
speed across the club face.
The new putter derives its alignment
technology from a pair of existing Cleveland
putters, the Smart Square Blade and Mallet.
The highly successful predecessors to the TFI
also used two boxes to help golfers align the
face. According to research conducted by
Cleveland, players who used the Smart Square
putters aligned the face 23 percent more
accurately than when using putters without the
unique alignment aid.

Along with the dual axis alignments and
the multi-material face, the TFI Smart Square
is outfitted with a High Density Stabilizing Wing
and a Low Density Aluminum Body. These
technologies combine to boost the putter’s MOI
for greater stability and minimal distance loss
on off-center hits.
The TFI Smart Square mallet putter has a
head weight of 360 grams. It comes in three
standard lengths (custom lengths available)
and is offered in right-handed models only. The
new putter carries a MAP (Minimum Advertised
Price) of $199.99, while the Smart Square
Blade and Mallet each carry a MAP of $139.99.
