We’ve already covered how Callaway’s Paradym Ai Smoke drivers are far and away the most popular big sticks in 2024. Today, Callaway announced a fun new addition to the Ai Smoke family. But you better act fast, because this limited edition colorway won’t last forever.

The new Paradym Ai Smoke Tactical is everything, from a tech standpoint, that has allowed the club to achieve significant gains, but with a green forged carbon that will stand out from the pack. Available for pre-order beginning today and in retail on June 14th, here are some additional details on the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Tactical.

Models
This tactical-style driver is available in two of the popular Paradym sub-categories.

Paradym Ai Smoke MAX Tactical: This model is intended for the average player who carries a mid-to-high handicap. The MAX imprint isn’t just a moniker. This model delivers the maximum level of forgiveness, launch, and distance of all Paradym driver models. The largest category of golfers would fit this versatile model. The perimeter weight on this 460cc head accounts for up to 19 yards of shot correction, so you can dial in your draws and fades to your liking.

Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Tactical: The lower handicap player that seeks workability off the tee would call into the Triple Diamond category for Paradym. This model is slightly smaller (450cc) and allows for the better player to reap the benefits of a smaller sweet spot. By design, the Ai Smoke Triple Diamond launches lower and has a lot less spin. Instead of the sliding weight that the MAX has, the Triple Diamond features an adjustable weight to finely tune how you find your fairways.

Callaway's AI Smart Face highlights both the MAX and Triple Diamond Tactical models. This technology simulates thousands of golf shots to determine a Swing Code. Those dynamics were the main factors in creating a clubface that is optimized not only for distance but also for launch and forgiveness.

Grips and Shafts
No Callaway limited launch is complete without matching components. And for the Ai Smoke Tactical, Callaway enlisted some big guns.

For grips, you’ll find a special Golf Pride MCC Tactical model. This multi-compound design has a Brushed Cotton Cord at the top for an all-weather grip and soft, responsive rubber at the bottom for precision.

Mitsubishi TENSEI Custom shafts are the stock shafts for the Ai Smoke Tactical models. The green color really puts the driver over the top aesthetically. In the MAX, you’ll have the choice of a 50g regular or 60g stiff. In the Triple Diamond, the options are 60 stiff or 60g x-stiff.
