Designed by Jeffrey Brauer in 1990, Bluebonnet Hill sits in the rolling hills east of Austin and offers a nice layout and an emphasis on a quick pace of play. The course is not overly long at just over 6500 yards, and there are enough par 4s and reachable par 5s to allow for a good score. But there are plenty of slopes and hazards, and when the course gets firm and fast and the Central Texas winds blow, the course really shows its teeth.
