A look at the recently-renovated Quail Lodge & Golf Club and its great service and amenities
By Paige Adair, for amateurgolf.com
My husband and I recently had the opportunity to stay at the newly-renovated Quail Lodge & Golf Club located in Carmel, Calif. and had a fabulous time on our weekend getaway to this gem located next to Carmel-by-the-Sea, as well as Monterey Bay sites and activities.
Recently renovated as part of a $28 million project, the Quail Lodge has amazing amounts of charm and rooms with fireplaces, chaise lounge areas and large vaulted ceilings with views of a beautiful lake and wildlife.
It's a great place to take the entire family as the resort offers golf, tennis, and a pool, not to mention all of the local area attractions. If you're in the mood for a hike than you have the Santa Lucia mountains, or if you want to see one of the best beaches in California, head west to the beautiful shoreline of Carmel, or Monterey's cannery row.
You can even bring your dog as this is one of the only pet-friendly resorts in the area.
The resort's staff and service made a very big impression on us during our stay.
They were all very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I was getting my diving certification while my husband played golf. They have a fully accredited golf academy tailoring a lesson to your ability.
The staff was gracious and always went out of their way to make us feel special. The staff at the pro shop and the restaurants were exceptional.
Overall, I would highly recommend this resort and will be heading back again when I'm in the area.
