Tournament Overview
The 2023 Sacramento City Mixed Team
Championship will be contested at Bing Maloney Golf
Course on Sunday, August 6, 2023.
The tournament is open to all amateurs age 18 and
over with an established GHIN (Golf Handicap
Index). The August 1, 2023 handicap
indexes
will be used for team handicap. The maximum
handicap difference
between partners shall not exceed 20.
The entry fee is $130 per couple and includes green
fees and awards (
power cart not
included). The field is limited to the first 40 team paid entries.
Play will be 18 holes of golf. Each competitor must
secure his/her playing partner. Two couples may be
paired together if requested. The CHAPMAN FORMAT
patterned after foursome play will be used. Both
partners hit from their own tee. Each plays a second
shot with the other’s ball. After the second shots, a
choice is made regarding the ball to be used to
continue and the hole is completed by using
alternating shots until holed out.
The entry deadline is July 27, 2023 and there
will be no refunds
after
this date. Any cancellations prior to the entry
deadline will be
assessed
a $10 cancellation fee.
