It was a par 3 golf course - so its somewhat contentious. But I had just started playing golf and was at a local par 3 course and I hit a 9 iron about 130~ and it landed on the front of the green and then disappeared. I never knew it went in until I was searching for the ball and jokingly checked the hole. Well sure enough, there it was, in the hole.
