Team Titleist provides golf enthusiasts with a direct link to the brand's product experts and ambassadors, and much more
FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (Sept. 21, 2011) --
There's
a home for golf enthusiasts to get together.
A
place to talk about their latest round and
share a few thoughts on the latest
equipment
and news of the day.
No, it's not the corner table at the local 19th hole.
Team Titleist, a relatively new haven for golfers, is just a click away at Titleist.com.
Team Titleist brings to life the latest news, information and discussions from the leading golf equipment producer. Members of the rapidly-growing online community are extremely enthusiastic about Titleist products and the game of golf, as a whole.
When not discussing the latest equipment release or PGA Tour performance while out on the golf course, members of Team Titleist are bringing their discussion online.
“Through Team Titleist, we are strengthening our connection with the golfer and providing Titleist enthusiasts with a direct link to our product experts and brand ambassadors while opening the doors to as much ‘behind the scenes’ information as possible,” said Liz Valicenti, Titleist's Director of Interactive Marketing.
“Since the launch, site activity and engagement has surpassed our expectations.”
By joining Team Titleist, community members will experiencing impressive access to typically lesser-known information about Titleist products and equipment and have the opportunity to join a Titleist research and development panel. Members sometimes even play a part in feedback surveys and other special events.
Team Titleist also recently launched the new 'My Game' section, which allows members to track key golf statistics and gain access to an extensive library of video tips and drills from the game's top instructors.
If you haven't yet joined Team Titleist, I'd recommend that you do so in a hurry. Whether you call yourself a Titleist brand loyalist or not, access to the community allows for an interesting look into the inner workings of the world's No. 1 golf company --- and that should interest any serious golfer. The additional perks of product reviews, contests and golf improvement channels only add to the value. (And did I mention, it's free?)
The good news for Team Titleist members new and old: it's only just begun. The program continues to grow and evolve.
“(Engaging with the online community) is at the core of Team Titleist,” Valicenti said. “We know there are a lot of conversations happening in the social sphere and golfers love to talk about their game, equipment and what’s happening out on the professional tours.
“As an industry leader, we knew it was important for us to be a part of the discussion.”
