PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 7, 2009)--Van Lefferdink & Jim Deveney teamed up for a final round 2 under par 70 and a two day total of 135 to win this year's Senior Better Ball Championship at PGA National - Estates.

Their final round included 4 birdies and 2 bogeys.

Ted Berghaus & Jim Bounds shot 69-68--137 to finish second (Berghaus & Bounds were the low net winners). Tim Cox & Scott Blasie shot 67-72--139 and Ed Duffy & Paul Pommier shot 68-71--139 to tie for 3rd overall.
