Kentucky Sr. Match Play: Quarterfinals set
A total of 40 matches were decided Tuesday, cutting the field in half for quarterfinal play on Wednesday.

Defending Champion, Randy Crowdis edged David Rabold of Bowling Green 1UP to continue his chase for a second Match Play Championship. Terry Bowman of Louisville and Tom Scheuerman of Pee Wee Valley both won their matches 5 & 3 in the Championship Flight to advance.

Thirteen seed, Silas Boyle from Louisville won his match 4&3 over Gene Smith in Flight One. Jim Orr of Louisville upset Mike Campbell 2 & 1 to advance. In Flight Two, Dennis George from Lebanon upset Danny Ashlock of Fern Creek 5 & 4. Mark Tudor of Louisville upset Randy Mefford of Carrolton 2 UP to continue to play in tomorrow’s competition.

Jim Snider of Louisville edged out Chris Krawiec 4 & 3 in Flight Three and will continue his play tomorrow. Bob Brawner upset Ed Heymann from Pee Wee Valley 6 & 5 in Flight Four.
