MEMPHIS, Tenn. (June 3, 2013) — Project X PXi celebrated its second straight win on the European Tour with a victory at the Swedish Masters this weekend. The Swedish Masters champion led the field throughout the final round and won with a three-shot lead with PXi in his 3-PW. The first victory came at the prestigious BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth the previous weekend.

“We continue to see great performances with PXi which is really proving to be a players’ shaft,” said Simon Wilson, PGA and European Tour manager for True Temper Sports. “PXi is the culmination of years of research and development and it is the most sophisticated steel shaft design in the history of the game. We continue to see more and more players put PXi into play each week on the PGA, Nationwide and European Tours, and I am confident we will be celebrating many more PXi victories this season.”

Project X also celebrated a win back in the states this weekend at the Mid-Atlantic Championship on the Web.com Tour. The winner plays Project X Graphite Tour Issue in his driver.

Truth in Numbers:

• Swedish Masters winner’s bag: PXi 7.0

• Mid-Atlantic Champion winner’s bag: Project X Graphite Tour Issue 6A4

PXi maintains the same launch trajectory and same spin rates that has made Project X a favorite on the pro tours, but in a substantially lightweight design. In addition, Project X engineers modified the design to soften the feel in the hands for the shorter irons and stiffen the longer shafts within a set. This is a high-powered combination that produces greater distance and improved feel beyond anything in the game today.
