By Richard Burton, Ocala.com Correspondent
OCALA, Fla. (March 4, 2013) -- Ken Palladino saved his best for last.
Palladino fired a 5-under-par, 67 and rallied from a one-shot deficit heading into Sunday's final round, as he claimed the Moot Thomas Senior Invitational Tournament at Ocala Golf Club.
The Dunedin resident won by three shots over second-round leader Brian Brown, the only golfer to shoot under-par on all three days of the tournament.
“I just tried to keep it on the fairway and on the greens,” Palladino said. “There were a lot of ups and downs today and it was a fun tournament.”
Palladino, who ended with a three-day aggregate score of 209, was pleased to have the opportunity to play in Ocala.
