DADE CITY, Fla. (March 1, 2013) -- Jim Smith and Alan Fadel combined to fire rounds of 68-66-67--201 and won by two shots at the 2013 Society of Seniors Ed Tutwiler Four Ball at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. It's the second straight victory for Smith and Fadel

The winners clipped John Register and Michael Occi (67-66-70--203) by two shots.

First-round co-leaders Bill Zylstra and Pete Allen finished in a tie for third place alongside the teams of Richard Pfeil and Rick Bauch, Steve Lucas and Roc Irey and Carl Nanni and Chris Kelos.

In the Super Senior Division, Bruce Rotte and Russ Berkoben, the 2012 SOS Super Senior Player of the Year, were two-shot winners over Ed Fletcher and Bob Coleman and Gary Strickfaden and Jack Vardaman, who both shot three-round totals of 205.

In the final round, Strickfaden aced the 14th hole while Coleman had a hole-in-one on the 12th.

The Tut attracted a field of 46 teams. Two rounds were played on Lake Jovita’s South Course and the middle round was played at the North Course.

The kickoff to the Society of Seniors 2013 schedule, the Four-Ball honors one of the greatest amateur golfers ever and founder of the society.
