MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (Jan. 16, 2013) -- CHAMP/MacNeill Engineering Worldwide - The World Leader in Sport Cleat Technology® and maker of innovative CHAMP spikes, high-performance golf tees and accessories - will launch the new Zarma FLYtee PRO, while showcasing its popular FLIX Divot Repair Instrument and full line of renowned spikes, tees and accessories at Booth 2629 during the PGA Merchandise Show, January 24-26 in Orlando, FL.
The latest addition to the popular Zarma FLYtee line, the PRO model features a soft, shock absorbing tip and is infused with Kevlar material that dramatically increases durability, making it nearly indestructible. Like its predecessors, the FLYtee PRO is designed with a six-pronged head and shallow cup that reduces friction, promoting increased distance and accuracy. It is available in 2-¾" and 3-¼" options.
Beyond performance advantages, the FLYtee family is designed to help facilities dramatically improve course operations, appearance and profitability by reducing tee consumption, decreasing tee litter and lowering purchasing expenses. The tees can be customized to include company, club or event logos and names. This makes them a tremendous way for facilities, outing planners and others to uniquely promote their brands and functions.
"The PGA Show continues to be a great launch pad for our innovative solutions in a variety of categories," says Harris MacNeill, President and CEO of CHAMP/MacNeill Engineering Worldwide. "All our products are developed and rigorously tested to ensure each new offering delivers the unmatched quality our customers expect and deserve."
Widely known as The #1 Brand on Tour®, CHAMP spikes continue to be the choice of top professionals and amateurs across the globe, with 30 of the last 40 major winners relying on the brand's popular models. Among those being highlighted at the PGA Show will be the ScorpionSTINGER™ and Zarma® spikes, designed with patented cushion technology. Both are engineered to ensure maximum traction, stability and comfort in all weather conditions.
Also on display will be the company's ultra-lightweight FLIX Divot Repair Instrument, featuring a fun-to-use and practical "switchblade" design that represents the company's most ergonomic offering yet. Heavy duty enough to handle stubborn divots, yet collapsible with the push of a button, the FLIX tool can be comfortably stored without fear of damaging pockets or bag linings. Catering to a variety of personal preferences, the device is available in orange, lime green, pink, black and white and just like the FLYtee, can be customized with company, club or event logos.
With more than 100 active distributors, CHAMP is the world's largest manufacturer of replaceable spikes. The company produces more than 140 million spikes annually and is the dominant global brand in football, soccer, golf, baseball, cricket, rugby and other sports.
