Argentine Amateur: Men's, Women's finals set
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Nov. 17, 2012) -- The championship matches are set at the 2012 Argentine Amateur. In the men's final, New Zealand's Joshua Munn will face Spaniard Antoni Ferrer. Delfina Acosta and Victoria Villanueva will square off in the women's finale.
Delfina Acosta beat Maria Olivero in the afternoon semifinal. Acosta is South American Champion Single and one of the players with the greatest potential in Argentina. At 15, she joined the team in September that played the latest edition of Word Amateur Team Championships in Turkey. Tomorrow is a momentous day for her as it will be for Maria Victoria Villanueva, who first reaches this stage of the competition.
She is in her first year back in Argentina after his return from the United States, where he studied and played at Ohio State University. Today she achieved a hole in one on the 12th, and reached using 8-iron from 161 yards distance, finally able to overcome 2-and-1 to Ayelén Irizar.
