MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Nov. 6, 2012) -- Dynamic Gold and Project X, both designed and manufactured by True Temper Sports, delivered accuracy and consistency during tough competition to capture another stroke-play title this weekend at the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions at Mission Hills. The victory marks the 91st win for True Temper on the PGA, European and Web.com Tours during the 2012 season - more wins than all other shaft manufacturers combined.

Playing Dynamic Gold in his irons and Project X graphite in his 3-wood, the champion shot a 21-under-par 267 (69-68-65-65) to come from four strokes back. He carded an impressive 13 birdies and one eagle in the last two rounds to claim the second WGC title of his career.

"The HSBC was the final World Golf Championship event of the year and all the players came out fighting for the title. Skill, perseverance and shot performance are all key factors in winning, and this year's champion trusted both Dynamic Gold and Project X to deliver his second WGC title," says Chad Hall, director of product marketing and global tour operations for True Temper Sports. "For more than 70 years, True Temper shafts have provided professional and amateur golfers with the game's highest level of performance, and we're very proud that True Temper continues to be the most preferred, most played, most respected shaft brand in the world."

Truth in Numbers:

• World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions winner's bag: Dynamic Gold X100 irons; Project X graphite 3-wood

• 61 sets of True Temper shafts in play at the WGC-HSBC Champions.

The Number One selling shaft in golf, Dynamic Gold shafts are preferred by skilled players seeking a low, penetrating ball flight. Dynamic Gold features an internal tip reinforcement technology and tighter weight sorting tolerance for precision custom fitting. True Temper's Project X line of shafts feature straight taper and short tip sections that provide maximum energy transfer with low spin rates required for penetrating iron shots.
