SCGA Senior Four Ball: Baker/Camaione lead
MOORPARK, Calif. (November 5, 2012) -- SCGA
senior stalwarts Don Baker and James
Camaione fired an opening round 64 to take a
two-stroke lead at the 9th SCGA Senior Four-
Ball Championship at Moorpark CC Monday.
The pair had eight birdies and no bogeys in the
four-ball format, which takes the low score
between the two partners for each hole. Just
two strokes behind are Mel Collins and David
Ujihara, who shot an opening round 66.
Scoring was low on the Canyon Crest and
Creekside nines despite high temperatures and
gusty Santa Ana winds. Fifteen teams are
within five strokes of the lead going into
Tuesday's final round. The final round will be
contested over the Canyon Crest and Ridgeline
nines and will be a 8:30 a.m. shotgun. Pairings
and live scoring can found here.
