S. Carolina Mid-Am: Hendley holds on for win
COLUMBIA, S.C. (Oct. 8, 2012) -- With a final round of 68 and a three day total of fourteen under par 202, Todd Hendley is the 2012 SCGA Mid Amateur Champion. Starting the day with a two shot lead, the 54 year old Thornblade member birdied the first hole and never looked back completing the day with four birdies, one eagle & two bogies en route to his first SCGA Major Championship title. At one point, Hendley has worked his lead up to five shots after making eagle on the par five 13th hole, but a flurry of birdies by second place finisher Todd White wasn’t enough to catch the seasoned veteran.
